Transfer Summer in Hindsight – Who spent most in 2013 ??

This summer was pretty hot,huh ?Bale to Real for nearly world-record fee,yet in order to satisfy Ronaldo’s ego price was brought down for couple millions and long-awaited Neymar – wonderboy of Santos came to Barca.Other active teams during summer were Spurs who just went into transfer bonanza,Galatasaray jumped far above and grabbed potential nextgen Ronaldo – Bruma,Kaka went back to his home – Milan..Yet there were some radical decisions as Anji’s board decided to level down as they fed up with failure of russian club and sold almost every star they got…And as always arabs went on ruining football. To highlight numbers, here is the table of transfer details:

Netherlands – 110 million euros profit

Spain – 102 mil. euros profit

Portugal – 72 mil. euros profit

Italy – 2 mil. euros profit

Russia – 20 mil. euros loss

Germany – 58 mil. euros loss

Ukraine – 58 mil. euros loss

France – 152 mil. euros loss

England – 483 mil. loss

As we see, quite sadly,Premiership teams are the top spenders.Well,in my view EPL and English football most probably lack the new bright generation that are not simply able to replace Lamps,Gerrard and solike players. And main reason behind this is matter of trust.EPL teams tend to rely on new transfers rather than academy players. And yet Netherlands maintain their status of Euro footie factory
